Lightning Bolts
are generally about 2 to 4 inches wide, and about 2 miles long. Lightning strikes somewhere on earth
approximatly one hundred times per second.

The Mississippi River
actually flowed backwards due to a large earthquake on December 16, 1811 near New Madrid, Missouri. Boats
were found over 40 miles upstream of where they had been anchored or moored.

Snow
was on the ground in a part of every one of the continental US states for the first time on record on January
31st, 1977. * ( A little known fact: It takes 10 inches of snow to equal just 1 inch of water. )

World's Oldest Living Tree
is nichnamed Methuselah and as of 2009 it was a 4,768 year old Bristlecone Pine. It was discovered in 1957 and is
located in a secret location in the Schulman Grove in California's (USA) Inyo National Forest.
